The Office of Research is excited to announce that registration for UTD Microscopy Workshop Summer 2019 is now open. The workshop will cover the basics of microscopy and image processing. We will spend some time exploring various tissue clearing, 3D data processing and large volume data set handling as the theme of the microscopy workshop is “Imaging intact tissues without physically sectioning them”. The workshop is modular so you can pick and choose which sessions you want to attend.

|Tuesday, August 6, 2019 – Day 1|
|10 am – 12 pm||General introduction to optical microscopy principles and techniques (few new topics in addition to last year’s content)

|Wednesday, August 7, 2019 – Day 2|
|9 am – 12:30 pm||Facility tour and hands on training: Kinds of microscopes and their individual capabilities|
|2 pm – 4 pm||Poster session and networking|
