Technical Data includes physical or electronic documents related to research activities at the University that are unpublished or that include confidential or controlled information, such as the following:
- Engineering designs or specifications
Technical Data should be reviewed with the Export Compliance Officer (ECO) to ensure the data or information you are sending cannot be used in production, development, or use of an export-controlled item, or has any nondisclosure obligations that must be met before the data can be shared.
