A subsidiary of the National Institute of Health (NIH), the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) awarded Dr. Zhenpeng Qin $2,516,426 for his Rapid Diagnostic Test for Respiratory Syncytial Virus by Digital Nanobubbles research. Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is among the leading cause of pediatric death worldwide and requires rapid and sensitivity diagnostics. The project will address a significant problem that affects infants and children in the US and worldwide.
