All UTD affiliated human subjects research (and all other activities, which in part involve human subject research), regardless of sponsorship, must be reviewed by the Office of Human Subjects Protections (OHSP) and approved (administratively and/or by the IRB Committee) prior to initiation. These studies must be submitted through the electronic submission system, Cayuse. Before preparing your application, please review the following subpages to assess requirements and considerations for new studies, including whether any additional reviews (e.g., MRI Safety and Feasibility Committee Review) are needed.  You are encouraged to reference the Investigator Manual when developing your protocol.
