Computer Science professor, Dr. Xiaohu Guo, received $499,997 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his research project, OAC Core: Small: Open-Source Robust 4D Reconstruction Framework for Real-Time Dynamic Human Capture. The project focuses on the modeling of topological changes in dynamic scenes and the robust tracking of moving surfaces. Dr. Guo’s goal is to develop an open-source robust 4D reconstruction framework for the real-time capture of dynamic human scenes.
