The Congressional Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) has awarded Dr. Zhenpeng Qin $293,492 for his research on Ultrasensitive and Rapid Diagnosis of Influenza by Digital Nanobubbles on a Microwell Array Platform. The proposed project will provide a new diagnostic method for emerging viral infections and will significantly change the current practice of infectious disease diagnosis and patient management. The proposed diagnostic method is a platform technology that can be adapted for other emerging infectious diseases by switching the assay reagents while using the same detection device. Congratulations Dr. Qin!
