The Office of Research Development (ORD) has chosen its winner for their Logo Design Challenge. Kwan “Danny” Woo Park, who is working toward his masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, submitted the winning design earning himself a $150 Visa Gift Card. Danny’s simplistic and fun design will make its debut in the Fall as part of ORD’s new look for their “science cafe” series Sips of Science, formerly known as Tech on Tap.

For the series, faculty members present their research in layman terms in pubs and restaurants around the area. Past presentations include robotics, social media, white-collar crime, and autism. The program is committed to promoting public engagement with science and making science accountable by bringing it out of the classroom and into the public.
