    Dr. Gagan Wig

Dr. Gagandeep Wig, Associate Professor of Cognition and Neuroscience in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, received a $2.9 million grant from the National Institute on Aging, part of the National Institute of Health (NIH). The award will allow Dr. Wig and his team to continue their research on identifying mediators between an individual’s socioeconomic status (SES) and their brain network organization, examining brain network organization as a biomarker of cognitive resilience or vulnerability under changing life conditions, as well as determining whether genetic risk of Alzheimer’s Disease moderates the above observed relationships.
